Hong Kong offers the Top Talent Pass Scheme (TTPS) — for high-income professionals and top university graduates for non-resident remote workers and self-employed professionals. The program lets eligible applicants live in Hong Kong for Category A: 3 years (36 months). Categories B and C: 2 years (24 months). After initial validity: must be employed or have established/joined a business in Hong Kong to renew. Category A: Minimum annual taxable employment or business income of HKD $2,500,000 (~USD $320,000/year, ~USD $26,700/month) in the year preceding application. Category B: Graduates of world's top 100 universities with at least 3 years of work experience in the past 5 years — no salary minimum. Category C: Graduates of world's top 100 universities in past 5 years with less than 3 years of work experience — subject to annual quota of 10,000 applications; no salary minimum. TTPS does NOT apply to nationals of Afghanistan, Cuba, or North Korea.

How to Apply for the Hong Kong DNV
Processing time: 4 weeks standard processing from the date Immigration Department receives complete application. May take longer for complex cases or if additional documents requested. Applications submitted entirely online via Hong Kong Immigration Department e-Service portal.

Taxes for Digital Nomads in Hong Kong
Hong Kong has a territorial tax system: only income arising in or derived from Hong Kong is taxable. Salaries Tax rates: progressive 2%–17% (maximum effective rate 15% on net chargeable income).
